"10:20 February 19, 2007 (outside temp 20 degrees / inside temp 52 degrees). Called to report our furnace did not work; I was quickly referred to maintenance. I did not catch his name but he put me on hold for maybe 40 seconds, came back on to apologize for keeping me on hold so long and said he would have someone at the house between now and noon. Frank arrived maybe around 11:20, had the problem figured out and fixed in about 8 minutes. He made a few more checks on our system to assure himself that everything would be OK. Then we held him up talking about alternate ways of heating and appliances. The guy was great - a real person, definitely an asset to the maintenance department but you may want to inquire if he wants to go into sales. He is just so forthright and honest that a customer could be confident that anything he tried to sell you was for his or her own good. Thank You - the three people I talked to from Eastern were great and I would have not believed we would get such fast service."

"I REALLY hope I am contacting the right company as the incident that just happened with one of your trucks happened so quickly, I really did not have enough time to read the side of the truck. I do believe however that there was a code of 507L written on the back side of the truck.... On to the wonderful stuff!
At 11:15 I was attempting to cross a four way intersection in Penacook (the corners of washington and village st) while carrying my baby and my arms full. Your truck was the ONLY vehicle that would allow me to even attempt crossing in a cross walk. Now as this man stopped, I made it half way through this cross walk with cars coming at me in all directions.... No where for me to go except stand there stunned at what was happening.... Nobody possibly cared that I was trying to make my way across the street with a baby safely. Unbelievably, a car came barreling down the road and came very close to me and my child when your driver gently moved his truck to the center line as if to say "Hey, stop your car and let these people pass!". Sadly, the car didn't stop but all the others that were following this person certainly did.... They got the message.
Kudos to your driver for just doing the right thing and caring about a complete strangers safety. The world would be a better place with more people like him! I work in a customer service industry and lately people make plenty of time for complaining and not enough time for complimenting. I hope your company does the right thing and commends this gentleman for his actions... They quite possibly could have saved my sons life as well as my own. Kindly,"

"My wife and I recently switched to Eastern Propane and boy, are we glad we did. For the past five years we have been under contract with “another” propane company. However, due to the poor service and inflated prices we were receiving from them were about ready to convert the house to oil heat and purchase electric appliances. As our contract with them drew to a close I started looking for another supplier and after much research decided to try Eastern. We purchased a 1000 gal underground tank from you at a price that was less expensive than what the old company was going to charge us for the 500 gal tank that we had been using for the last five years. Then in a bittersweet twist, your price to fill it was less than what we had been paying for the past five years.
But the story doesn’t end there. Everyone we dealt with at the Winchendon MA office from the sales staff to the schedulers were great. The two employees you sent to install my new tank were professional, courteous and above all, most helpful. They found and repaired seven leaks in our system that the old company wouldn’t or couldn’t find even after I had complained to them about the smell of gas. My wife and I look forward to a long and happy relationship with you folks and thank you for your great pricing and customer service."

Apparently, my propane tank was at 20% when one of your delivery drivers came to my apartment building to fill a neighbor's tank. He took the time to check the propane level in my tank (probably because he knew I had run out once this winter...oops). Anyway, he had your service department call me to see if I wanted a refill.
