In October, 2006 Eastern Propane & Oil was named Business of the Year by the Greater Ossipee Chamber of Commerce in Ossipee, NH. Ron Plante, Energy Consultant for Eastern Propane & Oil, was also named Business Person of the Year. These accolades are presented each year from fellow chamber members' nominations of those that have made a positive contribution to the community.

- In May, 2005 NH Business Magazine selected Eastern Propane & Oil as the recipient of The 2005 New Hampshire Business of the Year Award. This prestigious award recognizes NH companies not only for excellence in their industry but also for their contributions to the communities in which they serve.
- In February 2010, LP Gas Magazine ranked Eastern #14 on its list of the Top 50 Propane Retailers in the United States.
