Just one more way Eastern tries to make doing business with us a little more relaxing.
Take comfort in spreading your estimated fuel costs over 11 monthly payments. Never pay more than your capped rate for your anticipated fuel needs, no matter how high prices rise. Traditional Budget Plan
Make payments without a locked-in price easy and manageable. Spread your annual fuel costs over 11 monthly payments. Automatically receive your prompt pay discount as part of monthly budget payments. *Budgets are estimated on fuel consumption history. Significant changes in consumption or fuel prices can affect your monthly payment and/or the outcome of your budgeting results. Downside Protection 
Typically, Eastern also makes available so-called “downside protection” for an additional cost with Pre-Buy Plans. With downside protection (which is optional), if Eastern's current retail price is lower than your pre-buy price at the time of delivery, you pay the lower price. Downside protection is payable at time of sign up and is a non-refundable fee. The Budget Assurance Cap Plan monthly payment includes downside protection. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: To participate in an Eastern Budget Assurance or Pre-Buy Plan, you must enter into an Agreement with Eastern. The Agreement is a legal contract and sets forth the terms and conditions of your participation in the Plan. Please read the Agreement carefully as it will be a binding contract. Under the Pre-Buy Plan, you will be required to take delivery of all product you pre-purchased by May 31, 2011 and if you do not you will pay a shortage fee.
